Champagne Delamotte Blanc de Blancs Vintage 2012

A 100% Chardonnay assembly drawn exclusively from the six Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs (including Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Oger, Cramant, Chouilly and Oiry). 

In the glass it shows pale gold with a fine, persistent bead. On the nose: expressive citrus-oil, dried white flowers, chalky minerality and subtle wheat-toast complexity. 

The palate is both refined and powerful — crystalline fresh acidity, a core of chalk and flint, orchard fruit (pear, green apple), and a texture that marries creamy depth with taut tension. The finish stretches long, with saline mineral purity and poised elegance.
