A refined Aligoté from Burgundy’s Côte Chalonnaise, expressing a dry, flinty style with elegant green-fruit character. Aromas of nut, oak, and orchard fruit lead to a crisp, mineral-driven palate with notes of apple, quince, and subtle tropical hints. Fresh, balanced, and beautifully textured — a classic expression of Bouzeron, perfect alongside rich fish, soft cheeses, or charcuterie.
Ned Notes: Straight punching Aligoté, the new Chablis for those in the know. As Chablis is relegated to Galapagos by climate change, Bouzeron offers tensile, brisk, almost severely dry wines that skitter across broken oyster shells in the mouth, before a saline blast across the palate, nicely basted with lemon oil and jasmine. This will age nicely and drink well now dangerously. Palate staining of intensity 92
