Domaine Dujardin Monthélie “Les Plantes” 2022 – Burgundy, Chardonnay

A refined Chardonnay from Monthélie, grown on stony clay-limestone soils and crafted with precision. Lightly pressed and fermented in barrel with bâtonnage, it matures 11 months in oak before gentle filtration. Brilliant in colour with golden highlights, it reveals fresh notes of white flowers, mineral depth, and a generous, structured palate of impressive length. Elegant and age-worthy — a pure expression of Burgundy finesse.

Ned Notes: A juicy, mid-weighted white Burgundy, nicely refined by saline acidity, classy oak and a waft of phenolics. Jasmine, talc, rock melon and apricot pith. Long and pithy, with a saline clang to conclude. Excellent 94
